The Computer Forensic Department of Digital Forensic Lab Gilgit-Baltistan (DFLGB) is committed to providing all members of the criminal justice community with the highest quality Digital Forensic services possible. These services include scientific analyses of Digital Media.
The Computer Forensic Department strives to ensure accurate and reliable services for law enforcement community and the criminal justice system by maintaining Quality Assurance Program.
Services:
The Computer Forensic Department uses a wide-ranging set of tools to analyze and report digital evidence. Tasks completed by the Computer
Forensic Department include:
- Collection and preservation of digital evidence
- Analysis of digital evidence
- Recovery of deleted data that may have evidentiary value
- Examination of retrieved and /or submitted media
- Reporting of findings about digital evidence
- Expert testimony in court on resultant Analysis and the findings of all scientific analysis of digital media
